Pregnancy is such a special time – being part of it as an LMT and supporting your clients in all phases is a unique massage therapy service. Most LMTs won’t work on pregnant women.
At Midwest Massage Therapy Training Center, we know massage can help pregnant women have a more comfortable experience from conception to post-partum. In this class, you will learn beneficial hands-on massage to help moms feel their best during and after pregnancy, and boost your business at the same time.
From conception to labor induction, to labor massage, and post-partum massage, this class will heavily emphasize supporting the mom through all the phases and changes her emotions and body are going through. There is a lean towards natural birth and evidence-based birth. As an LMT, you will leave feeling confident that you can support the woman who wants to try to give birth naturally or who is determined to give birth naturally.
This class is designed and taught by highly experienced and trained LMT (and mom) Sara Newberry who offers pregnancy massage in her own practice. She teaches unique technique, insight, and perspective on pregnancy massage and natural birth that you won't get in any other massage training class. This class is fun and inspirational and adds a specialty to your practice that most other LMTs are not offering.
If you can think it, we have seen it or experienced it with our pregnant clients and will support you as you delve into offering pregnancy massage in your own practice. Our mission is to empower you to honor moms-to-be in their pregnancy, birth, and baby’s first year with this very specialized form of massage therapy and the extra support that goes with it.
At Midwest Massage Therapy Training Center, we believe it takes a tribe of dedicated, caring people to support pregnant women and help them through such a tremendous life change.
Help those who need you more than ever and add an extra income stream by offering pregnancy massage at your practice.
